About BCA - History |
||||||
BCA was founded in 2002 by psychiatrist Zyama Goldman. Dr. Goldman's vision was to create a healthcare company with a single focus on psychiatric care that would redefine the way mental healthcare is delivered. In 2003 Dr. Goldman led the effort to open the Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry in Columbus, Ohio. Soon after the Shaker Clinic, a community mental health clinic near Cleveland, Ohio, was formed. With a vision to grow the company, Dr. Goldman sought an experienced management team to manage the company hospitals and clinics and new capital to expand into other communities. In March 2004 Ed Stack joined BCA as the Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Goldman, Mr. Stack and the senior management team are developing new psychiatric inpatient and outpatient facilities and services.
With our singular focus on psychiatric care, BCA is bringing a new level of expertise to the problems of mental and addictive diseases. What is unique about BCA is that we are successfully integrating inpatient, outpatient and home based mental health services to produce exceptional mental health disease management results.
